  By far the best Safeway in the Tahoe/Truckee area. Not as busy as the Safeway in Truckee. Friendly staff. Easy parking. Great produce, deli, bakery and meat selection. They could use a self check out line but that is my only complaint!

  My favorite Grocery store. It is big and bright, very clean and organized. I have never seen a empty shelve in this store. The meat department and produce department can't be beat, always product. The staffing at this location is the best, very friendly and helpful.

  Sold us wrong size snow chains/cable. I purchased the correct size, yes I know how to look at my tire size and match it up with what's listed on the snow cable box, and when we put them on they were 4 inches too short. No returns or refunds so I'm stuck with small snow cables... Go to Ace Hardware which is less than a block away. The guys there are nice and will help find you the right size and I think you can return the chains if they don't fit and you try to put them on right in their parking lot.
